Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Sr. SEO Lead works in collaboration with other team members from the digital marketing, web development, and creative teams, and is responsible for designing and implementing SEO strategies for a&g Creative’s clients.

The Sr. SEO Lead is the go-to person in the company for all SEO activity. Collaborating with other marketing colleagues, they seek to understand the needs and goals of each client in order to devise the right search strategy that ranks websites on top while attaining ROI and digital marketing goals.

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, at the company’s office in Burnaby. Once established, the option to work part of the time remotely will be available.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with team members to understand and develop SEO strategies
  • Design and implement strategies that meet clients’ objectives, goals, and timelines
  • Monitor SEO performance. Make necessary adjustments to the strategy to ensure that clients’ goals remain on track.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to understand how SEO strategies are performing. Make adjustments where necessary to stay on track with clients’ expectations.
  • Conduct audits and make recommendations
  • Conduct competitor analysis and Keyword research
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client accounts, review overall marketing performance, and brainstorm on new concepts/changes
  • Act as the point of contact for all SEO inquiries from team members. Willingly impart knowledge with the intent to increase team members’ knowledge and skills
  • Track and document use of pre-determined client hours
  • Continuously keep informed on new SEO trends, knowledge, tools, etc.
  • Participate in team meetings to assess new clients and determine needs
  • Uphold the company’s vision, values, and mission statement at all times
  • Support the company’s short and long-range goals and objectives
  • Aim to ensure that A&G Creative remains a leader in its industry

 

What You Need

Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years’ commercial SEO experience working in-house or within an agency environment
  • Must be well versed in the technical aspects of SEO and SEO algorithms
  • Must be well versed in the intricacies of planning and managing SEO strategies, and what it takes to run a successful SEO
  • Proven success in meeting SEO targets and ROI
