Working with Wolfe’s Honey has been a dream. They pretty much let us have our way with…well…everything. Did that sound bad? We were delighted to work closely with Wolfe from product development to final execution, creating and branding the entire company in between. This meant starting with a marketing plan and communications strategy designed to make Wolfe’s Honey…well…something real special. The big idea came in the form of a new twist on honey, which included developing nutrient-rich honey “Elixirs”. Next, we developed branding and then designed some pretty cool packaging, including a custom glass bottle. We topped everything off with a fresh and interesting new website design and promotional print materials designed to position Wolfe’s as a vibrant and exciting new brand.
We feel pretty great about our work with Wolfe’s Honey and we hope you like it too. We suggest you try their Rainforest and Wildflower honey. It’ll GET YOUR BUZZ ON!
Logo and Branding
The Wolfe's Honey logo design was inspired by the head of a honey bee. A classic ribbon was added and centred between an image of a bee. The logo design is meant to be simple, elegant and contemporary. A modern font was selected to add youth to the brand.
Print Design
Wolfe's Honey is a special type of company and, as such, a standard letter format sell sheet just...well...seemed to fall short. So, with the blessing of the owner, we developed a really cool, unique and interesting product feature booklet. This promotional tool serves as a wonderful storybook - featuring Wolfe's history and tradition along with their products. A creative print design masterpiece, if we do say so ourselves!
Package Design
Wolfe's packaging design was an absolute treat to work on as, once again, the owner left the process to our expertise to come back with concepts that were as fresh and youthful as his spirit for his business. The label designs were inspired by the body of a honeybee but adapted to fit their various packaging formats...and Canadian labelling laws too, of course. Wolfe's liquid honey label design features the entire bee body (minus the wings) and their delicious creamed honey label design is a truncated version of the original, featuring only the torso of the bee. We added foil treatments for an elegant effect and the labels are highlighted with floral patterns where appropriate for added depth. No bees were harmed during the making of these package designs, we swear!
